Our vision is to demonstrate God's love, forgiveness and healing to humanity.
Who Are Seventh-day Adventist?
The “Seventh-day” in our name identifies us as a people who honor the weekly memorial to God’s creative power (Ge 2:3; Ex 20:3-7; Mt 5:17-19). “Adventist “ is a name that belongs to those who look for the literal, visible ‘advent’ or return of Christ (Heb 9:28; Jn 14:1-3; Act 1:6-11; Rev 1:7). The following is a summary sketch of our beliefs: Salvation is by God’s grace alone Through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Jn 10:1-2; 14:6; Ro 1:17; 4:3-5; 16:5; Ga 3:11) Our obedience is in loving response to God’s grace and the fruit of our faith (Jn 14:15; Ro 3:30-31; 6:1-23; Ja 2:26) Baptism by immersion (Ma 3:13-17; Ac 8:38) is a public expression of our faith in Christ and our receiving of God’s grace (Acts 2:41; Rom 6:3-4; 1 Pet 3:21) For the glory of God we believe in healthful living (Ro 12:1; 1 Cor 6:19-20; 10:31) Eternal life is our present reality in Christ (Jn 5:24; 1 Jn 5:11-13) And though death—a state of unconscious sleeping in Christ (Ec 9:5-6; 1 Co 15:51; 1 Th 4:13) overtakes us, there will be a resurrection when Christ returns (Jn 5:28-29; 1 Th 4:13-18) Adventism is a movement of destiny—God’s last warning invitation to a dying world—having been raised up in 1844 in fulfillment of prophetic time (Dan 8:14). It serves as the prophetic voices By the Spirit and Power of Jesus Christ, Home | About Us | Devotional | Calendar | Ministries | News | Online Giving | Bible Study | Prayer | Bookstore | Contact Us |
